Et voilà, ça y est! Le constructeur a attaqué le travail sur notre terrain. J’ai été très émue la première fois que j’y ai jeté un coup d’œil, et hier nous avons été nous promener sur la dalle de tuf, déjà posée au bout de quatre jours! Le projet prend forme, et d’ici un an, nous pourrons habiter NOTRE maison, et proposer deux bungalows pour l’hébergement.

Une nouvelle aventure commence…

And… that’s it! The builder attacked the work on our land plot. I was very touched the first time when I took a look at it, and yesterday we were to walk on the paving stone of tuff, already put at the end of four days! The project takes form, and before one year, we can live in OURS house, and propose two bungalow for the accommodation.

A new adventure begins …

Le premier jour de travail, un tractopelle dégageait la terre en trop. Des aigrettes volaient partout, cherchant des bêtes retournées avec la terre…

The first workday, a backhoe cleared the ground. Birds flew everywhere, looking for insects and worms…

Au bout de deux jours supplémentaires, voici donc la plateforme où seront installés notre maison et les deux premiers gîtes:

At the end of two additional days, here is the platform where will be installed our house and the first two holiday cottages:

Nous aurons droit aux couchers de soleil sur la campagne depuis notre terrasse, ainsi que depuis le « carbet » à yoga que j’envisage de construire (bon, là, il va falloir espérer que l’abondance toque à ma porte pour les sous!).

We shall see sunsets on the nature from our terrace, as well as from the « carbet » for yoga which I intend to build (well, there, we will hope that the abundance taps at our door for money!).

Et voilà ce que j’ai vu en levant les yeux vers le ciel…

And this is what i saw, watching towards the sky…

Et puis, moi qui suis fan des manguiers, il y en a un énorme juste un peu plus loin chez les voisins, où on pourra cueillir des mangues délicieuses! (on les a goûtées la saison dernière, miam).

And then, for me who am a fan of mangotrees, there is one enormous just a little farther in the neighbors’ field, where we can pick delicious mangoes! (We enjoyed them the last season, yummy).

Enfin, par un des chemins d’accès, on est juste à côté du début de la promenade vers le sanctuaire hindou au milieu des champs de canne, où règne une atmosphère magique…

Mon quartier est en effet très indien, et c’est vraiment chouette! (voir mon article ici)

Finally, by one of the access paths, we are just next to the beginning of the walk towards the Indian sanctuary in the middle of the cane fields, where a magic atmosphere reigns…

My district is indeed very Indian, and it is really great!
